    The other day we had a new customer come into our Piner Road shop, Santa Rosa resident Mark Imrie, who was there to have his truck smogged. After our store GM, Melissa, had checked him in, Mark was waiting in the customer area and struck up a pleasant conversation with Melissa about our operation. When he saw our Toys for Tots box in the office and some of our other advertising, he asked what types of services we performed.  Melissa filled him in on the basics.

     He asked about our DMV services and if we could help his brother with a Title and Registration issue he wanted to take care of on another vehicle. We let him know that we could take care of that without him having to go to the DMV office.  That led to his asking if he could donate over 40 NEW Hand Crafted & Painted Porcelain Dolls for the Toys for Tots program and Melissa told him absolutely.  

     There was a minor issue with his smog and Melissa set him up to come back the following morning and he said he would bring in these Amazing Dolls at that time and get his smog completed.  While there, Mark stuck up a conversation with our CIO Mike, asking how we got our name.  Mike explained the story behind the "Local Heroes" name and also some other aspects of our business.  Both of them are retired Veterans and they spoke about that as well.  Mike said he thoroughly enjoyed their chance to connect.

     Mark Did come back the following morning and delivered the Dolls.  He and Melissa filled the box with them together.  She then took a picture of Mark with his amazing donation to the Toys for Tots program.  

     On behalf of Local Heroes Auto, the Toys for Tots program and all of our employees, including our Santa Piston Man, we want to acknowledge and thank Mark for his generous donation to the program.  He is going to make it a special Christmas for a lot of Children in our community this Holiday Season!!!  Marc is a true Local Hero.

     Thank you Mark! You will always be part of the family here at Local Heroes Auto.  All of the children receiving one of these Dolls and us will all always remember this very special Christmas you brought to everyone!!!
